Howard MacFarland Fish, junior at Lafayette, was granted a whopping $75,000 bond because the idiot brought a fucking stick of dynamite on a plane.

Fish had been in federal custody since early Friday when Customs and Border Patrol agents found a stick of dynamite - as well as a black powder-based fuse and a blasting cap - in his checked luggage upon his arrival in Houston on a Continental Airlines flight that originated from Buenos Aires, Argentina. His carry-on luggage contained two more fuses.

The affidavit said Fish explained that [his] tour group went to a small shop near the mine and were instructed to buy presents for the miners. Fish told authorities the bag he bought contained coca leaves, juice, the dynamite and other explosive components.

Fish told authorities he gave miners the juice and coca leaves, but left with the explosive devices because he was never asked for them. He said he wanted to take the dynamite home as a souvenir, the affidavit said. (source).
