About this time every year it's pretty typical to get fall fever, i.e. the get-me-off-this-campus-I-can't-breathe-must-have-dose-of-real-world bug. Want a hefty chunk of funky get-down non-campus goodness?

WESU is putting on its monthy dance party/fundraiser, Struttin' at Vinnie's Jump and Jive (Across from the Washington-Main juncture) on Main Street this Saturday from 9 PM-1 AM. WESU DJ and all-around badass guy Lord Lewis the Velvet Knight will be spinning the best in vintage and new heavy funk, soul, afro and Latin rare grooves, and underground dance jams. There will also be dance video footage projections straight from Lord Lewis's secret stash video archives. It should be straight up awesome.

There's a small cover, the amount of which I can't seem to find anywhere, but it goes straight to helping the nation's oldest freeform radio station keep running. Think of it as Saturday's way to stick it just a little more to President Bennet.
