Destinta's new R-rating policy

Destinta has this bullshit new policy wherein you must have an ID to get into an R rated movie no matter if you have a college ID and it says you are a junior. Which means that international students who have no federal ID can't see R rated movies.I'm hoping that maybe the guy at the window was just a new worker and misunderstood, but if not, something must be done. Call Destinta at (860) 346-4000 and let them know what you think.

kind of ridiculous. kind of really ridiculous.
urrrgh better still, boycott mainstream hollywood crap.
That's been the policy in Connecticut for as long as I can remember. If you don't have an ID saying that you're over 17, you can't get into R movies. You can't buy liquor with a college ID saying that you're a senior, either, so why would movies be any different?
Also, why can't international students use their passports?
you want to bring your passport to the movies?!
