Replacing your WesID
Okay, apparently fewer people than I thought knew about this.
If your ID gets demagnetized, bent, cracked or otherwise fucked up, you don't have to pay to get a new one. As long as you give them your old ID with a good excuse, they'll make you a new one free of charge. If it's lost, though, the first time costs $25 to replace it and $30 each time after.

Then apparently the people in the WesCard Office are spewing some disinformation. Last year, my card cracked and wouldn't open the WestCo doors anymore. I took it to the office and they replaced it for free, but the woman warned me that any future replacements would be $30.
Where do we go to do this?
Also, if it's just demagnetized, you don't need a new one at all. They can remagnetize it for you.
wohhh there's something very wrong here. i have been charged twice for a cracked card, and another time they told me that they can't remagnetize cards because mine got demagnetized.
