What's this?! Has the Argus comics page discarded its decidedly postmodern leanings? Is that exposition I see? Lo! A punchline?

Where are the in-jokes? The surrealist babble? Has Jason Bitterman really lead the ARGUS COMICS-THAT-MAKE-SENSE REVOLUTION?!?!
