Outhouse this week

THURSDAY SUNSET AT MILLERS
Missing those Thursday dips at Millers? The pond may be closed after sunset, but let's stay there until then. We'll meet at 3PM on Thursday here at Outhouse to strap a canoe or two or three onto a few cars and head to the pond for my favorite time on the water for some leisurely paddling, floating, snacking, and for those who miss the old times, you guessed it, skinnydipping. It supposed to be in the 60s, but the host feels like in honor of the coming of December, it'd be cool to bring a few thermoses of tea. E-mail jbleshman(at)wesleyan.edu to RSVP, especially if you have a car-- showing up at 3PM is cool too, but a heads-up wouldn't hurt.

ALPINE START
The amazing alpine start returns! There is no better way to welcome a glorious friday than with a lovely morning romp in the woods. Join Lilly and Beth Friday morning at 5:30 am for some hiking and sunrise viewing at Wadsworth -- breakfast at the falls. Meet at Outhouse with yo awake self, breakfast feast contributions and yo (mama's) car. (We need people with cars to make this happen!) Wrench time with Grandpa LEGIT
A bit of a change up from the usual informative workshops this weekend. Now's the time to bring in your bike if it's got problems so you can get it tuned up and chuggin along again. Tubes, lubes, handlebar tape, and the likes are available for cheap so bring a few bills and expect to participate in the rehabilitation of your darling velocipede. Arrive at Outhouse at 1pm on Saturday for first-come-first-serve attention and RSVP to jtbrown(at)wesleyan.edu. Please include a note on what's up with your ride so he can plan ahead.

CALLING ALL EMTs!
Outhouse is looking into putting together a Wilderness module for EMT's who are interested completing a 40 hour course in worder to receive the Wilderness EMT module. Right now, they're just looking to find out if there are EMTs out there who would be interested in taking a course if it were offered this spring. If you are interested, or would like to know more about the EMT module, please let them know. E-mail ewyner(at)esleyan.edu for more info or if you would like to added to the

MOVE ON UP
The climbing wall at Freeman is open and ready to rock! Come down to the athletic center and do some sweet rockclimbing. No experience, money or equipment necessary. It is open Mon. 5-8:30 Tues. 6:30-8:30 and Wed. 5-8:30. Just drop in, or if you have any questions e-mail rhigginson9at)wesleyan.edu.
