Slavei hosts the Yale Women's Slavic Chorus

Abigail Huber '07 writes in:

On Sunday, the Yale Women's Slavic Chorus will be giving a free concert, along with Slavei, Wesleyan's Eastern European singing group. The Yale group usually charges for their performances, but they have agreed to do this one for free.

The music is really beautiful: folk songs with driving rhythms, haunting melodies, and joyous chords--sometimes even involving squeaks! It'll be a lot of fun.

If you bring a couple of bucks, you can pick up a Yale Women's Slavic Chorus CD.

Date: Sunday, December 3
Time: 7:30pm
