Iraq in Fragments

The Wesleyan Film Series is screening Iraq In Fragments this week. The director and Wes-alum James Longley ’92 has been nominated for an Oscar for best documentary. There’s an article about the nomination here.

This is actually Longley’s 2nd nomination, as he won a Student Academy Award for his 1993 film, Portrait of Boy with Dog. The film is outstanding and getting a chance to pick at Longley’s brain at the Q&A afterwards should be fascinating. The event is free with a nice reception to follow.
