Discussion of the Day!
So school starts....in a little over a month. If you're an incoming freshman, what are you most afraid of? If you're a veteran of orientation, what were you most afraid of?

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
I have two finals on Thursday, this is NOT fair. And Wesleyan is billing me like I had a summer [job]!
/pity party
Yessssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss
I just want senior year to be good (vague, yes?), but I feel like I'm getting in over my head in all aspects of life.
Everything will be okay! Everything will be okay! Everything will be okay!
how might one who isn't an incoming freshman get onto campus early (orientation week)?
Get a faculty/staff member to sponsor you and have them write an e-mail to svonscholer@wes with your name, where you're living, wesID and date of arrival. Easy-breezy
err, make that svonschoeler
i dont know, for me it's gonna be odd. I've lived in the same room in the same house for 18 years, and it's gonna be such a wierd change, going from the west coast to the east coast and all. don't get me wrong, I'm thrilled for it. it's just a bit of a change.
I'm afraid of not being cool enough. Honestly.
I'm a bit worried that public safety will put a damper on my activities.
as to not being cool:
i feel like most everybody at wes finds their own way to be cool. so be yourself. that said, there are certain groups COUGH hipsters COUGH that make me feel insecure about my coolness factor. so i just don't sweat it around them anymore knowing ive got friends in other places. they don't sweat it, or at least you cant tell because they have those "HIP" sweat bands on their heads.
