The gender assumptions about Leif were fucked up, but did you miss the blatant racism?

Calling Cameron the "token ethnic stereotype". Also, accusations of eating disorders?

This is well beyond Gawker. They mock us to sell themselves, and even then only half-assedly.

These are just skeevy personal attacks and stalking. I feel like any unemployed psych major could read this and glean a wealth of pathetic personal information about the writer.

That is the sad, pathetic man we're dealing with. (All that stuff is either public domain info, or stuff that he himself made available, so I don't feel too bad. Plus that's what he did to the kids from the NYTimes shoot.)

I just posted that and now wish I could take it back.

I feel dirty. If you guys can delete posts, please take that one off.

maybe just flag his blog a bunch of times and it'll be disabled? there is hateful content and some straightup porn (not that porn is bad!! but it isn't allowed under blogger's content policy).

while i do resent the gender assumptions and racist character of the comments, i dont think its fundamentally wrong to talk shit on these kids. dont get your picture taken for a major publication if you cant handle being open to public attacks. if they had asked me, i would have said fuck you, take your beauty-myth-perpetuating, animal-and-labor-exploiting classist bullshit elsewhere.

"if they had asked me I would have been uber sanctimonious, and full of crap, because that is who I am." oh yeah, that would have shown them.

He responded. He responded to every single comment on this blog entry and on his blog entry.

He tries to make it look like his original entry was calling attention to the racist nature of the Times slideshow. He tries so hard to seem as if he's nonchalantly brushing off baseless criticism, but in reality he took the time to respond to _every_ comment.

Unfortunately, this guy reeks of the all-too-familiar Internet attitude of "I'm right no matter what, everyone's an idiot except me, I love to engage in debate, but I'll always think I've won."

Not worth anyones time by a long shot. He admits he only had about one reader a day before this story.

Wow, obnoxious. I'm sorry he doesn't have anything better to do. I hope his taste improves...
