Pwned by Brown?

Sigh.

In recent years, the Spring Weekend has seen Brown play host to the likes of the Flaming Lips, Yo La Tengo, the Roots, Ted Leo, Common, Wilco, the Shins, and others. And this year's spring fling, taking place April 11-12, will once again pack a mighty wallop, with Vampire Weekend (representing Brown nemesis Columbia) joining Lupe Fiasco on Friday night, and M.I.A., Girl Talk, and jammy jammersons Umphrey's McGee doing their thing Saturday.

why don't we get My Chemical Romance instead? they are just as good, and probably cheaper.

9:58 - good idea, and while we're at it why don't we also take that fat cock out of ur ass

"just as good" lol

my chemical romance is fucking horrible

I agree. How anyone likes that band I don't understand. Useless emo fools with no talent - they sound like every other shitty emo-punk band.

my chemical romance? ohhhh dear.

Lay off the haterade, 'The Black Parade' is a damn stellar album. So what if the eye shadow is stupid, you're not listening to the look.

what about counting crows?

I heard the new pornographers were frontrunners, they are excellent and nobody can seriously dislike them - unlike very questionable suggestions like my chemical romance and counting crows, sorry

when doesn't brown pwn us?

losing MIA had nothing to do with money (though she is pretty greedy in regards to coming to ct from brooklyn to do a one-off). the date for wesleyan spring fling just did not work for her touring route. nothing is set in stone for the other bands, social committee is working on it.

I'd be VERY happy with the New Pornographers. Or Quad City DJs

hahaha people are so ridiculously funny in these comments.

like the joke, "nobody can seriously dislike them [new pornographers]"

fucking jesus.

I heard Rubben Studard might be coming and there is a rumor that Clay Aiken might surprise us as well!

It's quite clear to me that nobody at Wesleyan knows anything about good music. Now let's be serious and try to get Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears!

Oh, Vampire Weekend! Isn't that the band my friend at Columbia saw?

Anonymous said...

lou bega is free. i checked.

i see that none of you people are pissed about Brown having umphreys mcgee, who just so happen to be one of the greatest bands around today, and totally pwn your silly indie electro new age bullshit. Girl Talk, MIA, hah.
