SULLIVAN'S TRAVELS
1942. USA. Dir: Preston Sturges. With Joel McCrea, Veronica Lake. 90 min.
A comedy film director decides to experience real-life hardship so he can make a drama, but finds more than he bargained for. A spectacular tragi-comedy about the role of movies in society, and Sturges at his very best.
