Outings with the Wesleyan Outing Club

RUN BY THE RIVER
This Friday we will jog on down to the river to run on a scenic road and possibly some railroad tracks featuring spectacular views of the Connecticut river. It will be an out-and-back run so all levels are welcome (you can turn around whenever you want). Meet at Outhouse at 4:15pm with your running shoes and weather appropriate clothing. Email eogata@wes with questions.

DEVIL'S HOPYARD REDUX
Remember how awesomely cool that last hike was? Well, we decided we want to go back and check out another stupendous trail (there are lots). If you didn't go last time, this is your chance to discover the mossy green magic and gargantuan waterfall. And if you did go before, you know how great this place is. Meet Sunday at Outhouse 11am. Bring a car and a snack and your favorite car. Email tword@wes to RSVP.

ROCK CLIMBING AT CHATFIELD HOLLOW
This Sunday we're heading out to Chatfield Hollow's trap rock cliffs to do some climbing. This is some of the best rock climbing in Connecticut and it should be a beautiful day. There is no equipment or experience necessary, we'll be teaching everything you need to know. We'll meet at Outhouse at 10 Saturday morning and get back around 4. Space is limited, so RSVP to Reid (rhigginson@wes) before it's too late.

GET OUT!
Outdoors, that is. Spring is coming…we think! Learn about the natural resources that surround us and how you can enjoy them. Come talk with Jim Little from the CT Forest and Park Association and Oriana Korol from Wesleyan's Outing Club this Friday, April 4 @ 4:30 pm Center for Community Partnerships (corner of Church and High).

WOOT (WESLEYAN OUTDOOR ORIENTATION TRIP)
Calling all leaders! We are looking for people to lead day trips for incoming frosh the first weekend after classes start in the fall. Any type of outdoor adventure activity is encouraged. Email oliviamill@gmail if you are interested.
