Outings with the Wesleyan Outing Club

FIRST SWIM OF THE YEAR
Join Oriana and Eleni for an early bird swim special at MILLER'S POND! They will be leaving Outhouse at 8:15 am sharp on Monday April 14th for a quick dip in the pond (waters already tested and safety approved). Returning to campus at nine so that those with classes can go, those without can have a delightful post-swim breakfast at O'Rourke's. Invite your (daring) friends!

THE GREAT FANTASTICAL FOREVER HAILED WESLEYAN FUZBOL INNING
If you have an interest in Fuzbol, please join the lunchtime fuzbol tournament! Email Oriana (oriana.korol@gmail) with your name, your team member(s) if you have them, your team name, and available noon-time days of the week. If you do not have a team, do not despair, Oriana will match you with other singles. Remember, only two people can play at a time, but you may have as many people on your team as you want. T-shirts encouraged!

The games will be at 12 and 12:30 in the basement of Usdan, all spectators invited. They will begin the week of April 14th. As they will be self-monitored, Oriana will send out a detailed description of the rules to all members. The tournament will either be single or double elimination, depending on how many teams enter. Winners and game times will be posted on the Outing Club website. So gather your team, practice your skills and email Oriana by Saturday, April 12th if you want to play! Competition will be stiff.

BIRD WATCHING
I will be going bird watching on some mornings from now until September, and you are all invited. I only go when it's sunny, so a weeks notice is impossible. If you want to be on my email list, let me know and I will put you on. To bird watch you need a bird guide and binoculars. These can be shared, but best not. If you're not interested in waking up at the butt-crack of dawn, but have binoculars, would you let me borrow some? I will be taking some students from Bio192 out, and most of them don't have binos. Looking forward to seeing new and old faces on some great outings. Don’t forget, next Wednesday at 10pm at Outhouse we will be having an Outing Club meeting. We will vote on President(s) for next year, talk about other jobs, and our end of year potluck!
