Another Hater
Wesleyan got the label of being "moderately overrated" in the blog everythingisoverrated.com . While this site doesn't have the popularity of gawker, the blogger "Vince" seems to think
"Wesleyan is moderately overrated, and even worse, it is sort of dishonest. Overall, it basically sucks."
Why does he think we're dishonest? Because "it's not actually a university. It's really a 'liberal arts college,' which sets off two red flags (liberal and arts) right away". Considering his 2nd point as to why we're overrated is that Middletown is depressing, I say let's let this poor soul remain deluded with his false accusations.

Middletown isn't depressing. Sure, post-industrialism has not been kind, but Middletown still has many beautiful neighborhoods, historic homes, outstanding restaurants, a long list of excellent community organizations such as the Green Street Arts Center and Vinny's Jump and Jive. Give Middletown a break.
