Middletown Press reports on arrests
The story ran in today's issue. Interesting excerpt:
Police said the students were partying in the street, blocking traffic, dancing and drinking alcohol and that they were warned to disperse and given 40 minutes to do so. When the students did not comply, police took non-lethal measures to get the situation under control, said Sgt. Scott Aresco. Those measures included dispersing pepper balls.
“If they would have done what they were told to do, none of this would have happened. It appears that the officers followed rules and regulations; they handled themselves with great restraint,” Aresco said.

why did the article include their home addresses in some cases?
We want to be sure that readers understand they're not reeeeally Middletown residents
Reporting the home addresses of those arrested is common practice when local newspapers report arrests.
buuuuuuulllllllll shhhhhhhiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiitttttttttt!!!!
GREAT RESTRAINT???
so essentially, i come over to your street, tell you to leave, sit on my ass for 40 minutes and then i can go brutalize your ass and claim I showed great restraint during my 40 minute repose?
if anything it was the ten cop cars that were blocking the street. i don't think it was a crowd of people that stopped the ambulances from getting to where they needed to be.
