Vanity Fair dedicates page to Wes alums
The latest issue of Vanity Fair has a whole page devoted to the awesome Wes alums who have made it big in the entertainment industry. Since we received three separate tips about it (thanks, Hunter King '08, Sarah at MiddBlog, and Mia Silverman P'08!), I figured I'd better buy a copy and scan it.
The blurb explains that "This tiny Connecticut university, with a total enrollment of 2,700, has turned out a shockingly disproportionate number of Hollywood movers and shakers. Herewith, some of the most likely to succeed." While there are some awesome entertainment wesfolk who were left out (Kim Stolz, Zack Whedon, Halley Feiffer, and more), it's a pretty impressive list nevertheless.
If you want to buy a copy, it's page 180 of the October issue (with Marilyn Monroe on the cover).
(Also, be sure to note Sebastian Junger '84 in the bottom left corner; he's both voted "Most likely to be awesome" and also listed as a journalist at Vanity Fair. Hmm, interesting. Thanks, Sebastian!)

What about Stephen Trask?
You do realize that Seb wrote "The Perfect Storm," right? Much more than a Vanity Fair journalist. Also, he holds the school record in the indoor 1500m run. Baller.
I in no way intended to imply that Sebastian Junger '84 wasn't totally awesome. :) I just was suggesting that maybe we know who got us this nice page in Vanity Fair :P
