Tonight on the Wesleyan Film Series

PARANOID PARK
2007. USA. Dir: Gus Van Sant. With Gabe Nevins, Daniel Liu. 85 min.
Alex is a typical young skate rat: confused about girls, alienated from his parents, and desperate to gain acceptance by the more experienced skateboarders. Van Sant (Elephant) paints a beautifully subjective, dreamlike coming-of-age tale, shifting back and forth in time as Alex struggles to make sense of a life-changing event.
