Lifeboat

1944. USA. Dir: Alfred Hitchcock. With Tallulah Bankhead, William Bendix. 96 min.

The eclectic survivors of a sunken WWII liner find themselves stranded on a lifeboat in the middle of the ocean. Then things get interesting when they rescue the German U-boat commander from the water. Continually gripping, Lifeboat ranks among Hitchcock’s best.
