Tonight on the Wesleyan Film Series

WILD AT HEART
1990. USA. Dir: David Lynch. With Nicholas Cage, Laura Dern. 124 min.
BLUE VELVET looks downright conventional next to Lynch's indescribably beautiful and strange follow-up about two sex-crazed lovers on the run. A stylish and darkly funny road pick, chock full or surreal imagery, random WIZARD OF OZ references, and Nick Cage chewing scenery in a snakeskin jacket.
