Tonight on the Wesleyan Film Series

BREAKING THE WAVES
1996. Denmark. Dir: Lars von Trier. With Emily Watson, Stellan Skarsgärd. 159 min.
A heartbreaking tale about a naïve Scottish woman driven to self-destruction in an effort to save her paralyzed husband and please God. It might sound heavy, but von Trier is at his artful best in this raw and radiant film.
