Tonight on the Wesleyan Film Series
TOY STORY 2
1999. USA. Dir: John Lasseter. With Tom Hanks, Tim Allen. Animated. 92 min.
Arguably the first great Pixar film, this sequel is a huge step up in their development of humor, ornate set pieces, and recurring themes of nostalgia and conflicted identity. This time, Buzz and the gang embark on an epic mission to save Woody from the clutches of a crooked toy collector and the nefarious Stinky Pete.
