THE KILLER
1989. Hong Kong. Dir: John Woo. With Chow Yun Fat, Danny Lee. 111 min.
If you love shooting guns but hate re-loading, this is the movie for you. Chow's stylish, sentimental assassin teams up with a cop to take down a mob boss with a seemingly endless supply of disposable henchmen. The gallimaufry of airborne bullets, bodies, and doves in the final showdown dazzles with operatic beauty.
