ROCKNROLLA
2008. UK. Dir: Guy Ritchie. With Gerard Butler, Thandie Newton. 114 min.
Madonna was clearly some sort of terrible reverse-muse for Ritchie, for whom this fast-paced, kinetic thriller is a welcome return to form. With several million quid up for grabs, gangsters and scumbags zigzag around London's underworld for a piece of the action.
