Army training base: public meeting

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is building a 25-acre military training center in Middletown. Where should it be built? How will it affect our community? Why is this happening? What can we do?

For those who want to experience the interface of Middletown residents and federal power firsthand, there is a public meeting Wednesday night at 6:30 at Mercy High School, located at 1740 Randolph Road. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Louisville District, will discuss the site suggestions submitted to them by members of the Middletown community.

If you would like to attend and need a ride, please contact me as soon as possible at jlaselva@wes. Include your name and phone number.

Date: Wednesday, Sept. 17
Time: 6:30 PM
Location: Mercy High School (1740 Randolph Road)
