V-Day Film Series

What, you thought that V-Day was over? Well, guess you're in luck. Check out these upcoming film screening events:

Celebrating Orgasm
When: Wednesday, February 18 at 7 pm
Where: PAC 002

Itty Bitty Titty Committee
When: Thursday, February 19 at 7pm
Where: PAC 002
"Itty Bitty Titty Committee is a rockin love song to the heady rush of sex, freedom and rebellion that happens when an everyday girl discovers her own strength and the righteous indignation needed to take action and change the world." (description from IBTC official website)
Admission is free, but bring some cash; donations are encouraged and there will be baked goods and raffle tickets for sale.

V-Fest Events

V-Fest is this weekend. Here is a chocolate vagina:

It's called V-Fest. It's happening at 200 Church. During the afternoon, from 1 pm - 4 pm, there will be vagina crafts, info on sexual violence, and good times.

At night, from 9:30 pm - 12:30 am, there will be a concert featuring the musical stylings of:
Precision Libido, Emilyn Brodsky, The Last Minutes, and Paul Edwards. There will be baked goods and raffle tickets and dancing!

Admission is $5 (at the door) for both events, so if you go to the afternoon event and get your hand stamped you can get into the concert for free.
Date: Saturday, February 14th
Time: 1-4 pm, concert from 9:30 pm - 12:30 am
Place: 200 ChurchAnd don't forget to stop by the fundraising tables at Usdan and Olin, going on until later today.

Want to be a Vagina Warrior?

Help organize V-DAY 2009! Every year Wesleyan students work to raise funds to help end violence against women, and we're looking for volunteers to help do that again this year. If you have time (from now until mid-February) and are willing to help with sales, publicity, organizing, baking, artwork, and/or anything else please let us know!
