I'm trying to gauge interest in a badminton club here at Wes. Anyone who is interested in helping to start the club (or those who will want to participate, but not necessarily help establish it) should email me at ahmonroe@wes so we can get started on the preparations for the organization.
I was going to reference Bend It at Beckham but, well... no.
The first practice for men's club soccer was this afternoon, but there will be another practice tomorrow at 4:00 PM.
Meet up at the track behind Freeman Athletic Center. All skill levels are welcome. There are usually three practices a week, and games against other colleges take place most weekends.
Date: Sunday, Aug. 31
Time: 4:00 PM
Location: Track behind Freeman
Wesleyan Ultimate sent three teams to the High Tide ultimate tournament this week in Savannah, GA (where I currently am). Vicious Circles won the women's division, Nietzsch Factor B won the men's B division, and NF took second in the men's division. Yay!
Really poorly written article with sweet photos here
Miss playing lacrosse? Always wanted to play? We're hoping to start an informal and fun girls' club lacrosse team this semester. All levels of experience and fitness welcome. You'll need a stick, goggles, and a mouth guard. If you want to find out more, come to an interest meeting next Monday at eight thirty at the Usdan couches downstairs. If you're interested and can't make it, email econrad@wesleyan.edu or eevans@wesleyan.edu for information.
See you Monday,
