Juicy Campus Going Out of Business

Anonymous haterade is not the most profitable product in this economic climate - the online college-gossip-mongering website Juicy Campus is going out of business.

Juicy Campus caused a media stir when it became popular at some large schools last year, and some of us were worried that it might take hold at Wesleyan and magnify the worst aspects of the ACB. Luckily you weren't interested, and now it seems that there is some decency in the world.

Bush's Exit Interview

Some clips from President George W. Bush's final press conference yesterday, in which he cracks jokes, tries to justify his administration's legacy, makes facile admissions of mistakes, and gets appallingly theatrical:

This is probably the last we'll hear from this guy for awhile, savor it with the full 47-minute interview at MSNBC. Or cheer yourself up with some easy liberal snarking about the Bush legacy from Current TV.

OBAMA WINS ELECTION!!!!!

This is all I can coherently type right now AHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
[edit 20 minutes later]
This graphic can do no justice to this great historic moment, etc. etc., but with all this excitement on a Tuesday night, functioning effectively for the rest of this week will be way more of a challenge than most us can consider facing right now, unlike the delightfully simple wave of change Barack Obama will likely sweep this nation with in the next 100 days AAAHHHH!!!!!

Also, John McCain is basically a good guy despite a series of bad decisions these past few months:

These 7th Graders Want You to Vote

The students of the Ron Clark Academy in Atlanta have put out this election season's most endearing voting-encouragement video, set to the beat of TI's "Whatever You Like". And they're nonpartisan! Aw, cute:

The Obamas' "Closed-Fist High Five"

In case you missed it, the Obamas are the freshest couple ever to run for the White House. Before his big victory speech last night in St. Paul, Barack shared a classy fist-bump with Michelle in what's "perhaps the most high-profile pound of all time".

What could the other contending couples have on this? A John and Cindy McCain salute? A Hillary and Bill Eskimo kiss?

What about that other, OTHER candidate who gets no coverage?

Disappointed with the lack of crazy ranting and ridiculous hyperbola (C'mon, ONE crazy pastor and an aging former vice presidential democratic nominee political hack?), I've decided to throw in some coverage of Web 2.0's poster candidate, Dr. Ron Paul.

Maybe Orville will run as his VP? America loves popcorn.

Obama's not the only one with a message of hope, people. Ron Paul believes in hope too!
