OMG! It's the Apple iPhone!
As Wesleying's resident Apple evangelist, I just wanted to issue a reminder: start your drooling. iPhone launches at 6 PM on June 29. Get ready to stand in line for days outside your local Apple/AT&T store.

While Apple was rolling out the second generation Shuffle, our Korean friends gave us this little beauty one day later: The IriverS10.
Oh my god! It's so beautiful! It's a little larger than the new Shuffle but come on, it has a screen!
Stats: 1.5” OLED display, SRS WOW with 30mW (16Ω), 42x30x10.8mm (that's MILLIMETERS, people) and a weight of 17.5g. Supports real audio formats such as MP3, WMA, ASF, and OGG, has a FM tuner, and comes with 1 or 2BG storage capacity and a battery life of 8 hours.
Don't know if it's available in the states yet, but wow! If only we could get student discounts on these...

This is the new second generation Ipod Shuffle.
IT IS SO SMALL.
How small? Try a gig packed into 1.62 mighty inches. Inches that are, might I add, clippable. I'm not fucking kidding. It's the first mp3 player that can double as a money clip. Next step? Roach clip.
The thing weighs half an ounce. To give you a sense of scale, a parakeet weighs 1-1.4 ounces.
Really, there's a limit to how tiny you can conceivably make these things before people start losing them underneath their couch cushions.
