Baby Cart to Hades at Film Hall

This sounds ridiculous:

To make up for last week's slow moving Incident at Blood Pass, which included surprisingly few incidences of blood, we've got a sure-fire deathfest for you this week:

LONE WOLF AND CUB III: BABY CART TO HADES!

In case you missed DRAGON's screenings of the first two films, here's a recap:

Heads roll, maniacs laugh, children commit murder, bloody handkerchiefs drift in the wind, and exposed chests get sliced wide open. It's a perfect way to prepare for GZA's performance next week, since his album Liquid Swords opens with a clip from this series. Don't miss 89 minutes of bloodshed and mayhem!

Date: Tuesday 4/29

Martial Arts Blaxploitation at Film Hall

Tuesday night movie at Film Hall:

THE LAST DRAGON

Netflix describes it as a combination of "martial arts, funk, blaxploitation, disco and former Prince girl Vanity". Our hero, "Bruce" Leroy, claims his title as "the shogun of Harlem". Surely not something to be missed!

Lone ronin and maniacal white-haired fiends!

It's violent! It's racy! It's thematically challenging! A lone ronin walks the white path between fire and water: a path that leads to revenge.

DRAGON in conjunction with Film Hall presents Lone Wolf and Cub: Baby Cart at the River Styx.

An installment of one of the most brutal, unforgiving samurai series of all times. A disgraced former executioner uses his sword and innocent child to seek vengeance from an evil gang led by a maniacal white-haired fiend! In this episode, our hero must defend himself from a deadly female ninja as he hunts the sinners who ruined his life!
