Middletown Street Art
This distinctive electric purple stencil was noticed on a wall in Middletown by Illicit Exhibitions, a blog about street art, two weekends ago:
A giraffe skeleton? A horse? At any rate it's probably no longer up, since the city's police chief is pretty scrupulous about painting over graffiti.
What does it mean, and who's the street artist behind it? Speculate here, or email illicitexhibitions@gmail if you've got information.

this is all over campus also. it's pretty obvious who did it. it's not really some crazy statement/person or anything.
its also ugly. and i really like stencil graffiti. that one is just horrendously poorly done.

Just wanted to let you know that I'm certainly not trying to blow up spots...I just found it and wanted to know who did it. While it may not be the best quality stencil, it was what Middletown had to offer on that particular day. I just snap photos; I don't paint myself. Since I'm not a Wes student, it's not as obvious to me who's putting them up. Thanks for the feedback, though! If you're into street art, definitely give my blog a look. i like it, but its everywhere, its kind of gross. put it up once or twice and let it stand on its own. no need to spam the world.
isn't that the exact image that appeared on those ECLECTIC flyers that went up around the same time? These shitty pieces bug me so much, I have to see them every day. Whoever actually did them is a no-talent piece of shit. I don't want ze/they to get busted, but they should know they suck.
