Ostranenie is an archive of Wesleyan students' creative and critical work. We consider anything capable of 2-D reproduction. Some of those things are:
drawing - essay - poem - cartoon - sculpture - criticism - fragment - diagram - fiction - photo - manifesto - tirade - play - sketch - score and there are so many other things that can be reproduced in 2 dimensions!
This issue is in black and white. We'll save color submissions for consideration in the spring. We can also convert submissions to black and white upon request. Let us know.

how competitive is it to get published, roughly?
just submit! maybe it won't be published but you'll be in the same situation had you not submitted in the first place
also, the submissions are reviewed anonymously...
