Loud Spirits Day is Saturday
One of the WestCo presidents, Alex Chaves '12, informs us that WestCo is hosting Loud Spirits Day this Saturday. For everyone prior to the class of 2012, Loud Spirits Day used to be known as Duke Day.
This event is FREE, and Captain Coconut is headlining, and a bunch of other student bands are playing. There is going to be body painting, film screenings, art making, and lots of other cool things 'happening' . Also, lots of dancing and music! Loud Spirits Day is all about audience participation and interaction so help make it happen Wesleyan! Stop by Westco this Saturday and see what it's all about!Date: Saturday, November 8th
Time: 12pm - 6pm
Place: WestCo Cafe

fail. LSD is for zonker harris. Shrooms is for duke day
get your shit straight newbs
we know that. we don't care. it's funny. if they're going to make us change the name for being a drug reference, it's the least we can do.
yeah but you changed it to something that sucks
which is good. as far as we are concerned it's still duke day. if the name was good it might catch on.
You know this is really counter productive to WestCo's efforts to change its relationship with administration. We did not choose the name to emphasize LSD or any other drug reference, we chose it to be a kind of tacky name that reflects our intentions for the day; to raise peoples spirits with loud music and other arts.
you guys do realize that everyone, not just students, read this right guys?
when is captain coconut going on.
