Washington St. A&P Hours Changed
Another one bites the dust. The A&P in the Washington St. shopping center (by Athenian), which was formerly open 24 hours Monday through Saturday, has decreased its hours. The supermarket is now open 7:00 AM to midnight Monday through Saturday; Sunday hours (7:00 AM-9:00 PM) are unchanged.
For those of you who still need a 24-hour A&P fix, there's one at 207 Webster Square in Berlin (roughly 15 minutes away) with the same hours as the one on Wash used to have. There's also a 24-hour Stop & Shop at 930 North Colony Rd. in Wallingford (about 20 minutes away). All the more reason to make friends with cars.

Don't forget the Stop & Shop off the Main Street ext. (just past CVS, on the right).
** "to make friends with cars"-> to make friends with people who have cars.
don't be such a prick
Be careful of befriending cars, they might betray you... http://pbfcomics.com/?cid=PBF104-Cars.jpg
