Blue Scholars w/ Chrome Punch at Psi U

Seattle-based hip-hop duo Blue Scholars are playing at Psi U next Thursday night, don't miss this one:

Blue Scholars have built a hip-hop empire in the Pacific northwest. The classic formula of one DJ and one MC, their resume is well established and only growing, having opened for the likes of Kanye West, De La Soul, Hieroglyphics and Immortal Technique, and participated in the Rock the Bells hip-hop festival. The group combines socially conscious lyrics with funky, funky, funky beats.

"conscious rap's next great hope" - pitchforkmedia.com

Dirth South / Country Dance Party

Chris Goy '09 writes:

The WesDems are hosting an intentionally ironic, "Dirty South/Country Dance Party" at Psi U this Friday, April 6th from 10pm-2am. It's our only fundraiser of the semester so we will be charging $3 at the door. I thought it was worth mentioning as it is quite the distinct party theme and the music has been hand-picked for freshness and quality, much like good produce. The transitions will be seamless, much like the Dungarees I bought for this party (which are two sizes too small), the crescendos timed perfectly, and the tongue served with a side of cheek.
Date: Tonight, April 6h
Time: 10pm - 2am
Place: Psi U
Cost: $3

September 29, 2006

There's a party on the main floor of Psi U this Saturday, which leads me to believe there will be dancing and getting down.
