Weshop Weekend Hours

WSA Dining Committee chair Becky Weiss '10 is working with Bon Appetit to tweak the hours Weshop will be open on weekends next year, and wants to hear your thoughts.

Please answer this quick survey question about Weshop hours. Note that we can only shift the hours around - we do not have the option of simply adding more.

Weshop is currently open 2-6 on Fridays and Saturdays and 12-12 on Sundays. A few years ago, the Saturday hours were extended from 6 to 8, but very few people took advantage of the additional time. A poll like this is hardly scientific, but we're hoping you'll use it to give us an idea of whether it makes sense to adjust the Friday hours.

Order a TV, Corvette, or gold jewelry at Weshop

Weshop doesn't stock your favorite sports car, or the gold ring you want to buy your main squeeze? Worry not! Apparently Weshop can place a special order for you—and really, what better way to blow your remaining meal points than by buying a new Corvette? As far as I can tell, Weshop can order "whatever you want."

Via Becky Weiss '10, a member of the Dining Committee:

If you have tons of points left, consider placing a special order at Weshop. They can order whatever you want, but only through May 2, so if you're interested, do it now! Also, as usual there will be boxes outside of Weshop for donations.

EDIT: To clarify for the reader who left the first comment, Becky meant that Weshop can order whatever food items you want. I trust that no one actually took the Corvette/jewelry suggestions seriously.

Getting back on campus this weekend? Here's whassup:

University housing officially opens Sunday at 10:00AM, but you should be able to get into your dorm or house any time before that with no issues.

The campus dining spring opening schedule covers the schedule for on-campus eateries. Most notably, on Sunday, Mocon is open for dinner, Davenport is open for lunch and dinner, and WEShop is open 2-6pm.

The library spring opening schedule shows only the SciLi open this weekend, and the regular library opening 9-5pm during the first few days of this week.

And computer labs are open a lot.

Classes begin Wednesday the 24th, so get your #2's sharpened in keen anticipation.

More Surprises at Weshop

So I was at WeShop the other night, doing one of my frequent regression runs (nilla wafers and apple juice), when I discovered something absurdly wonderful. MINI NILLA WAFERS. They're just like the normal ones, except little. So you don't get crumbs all over your shirt when you're sprawled on the sofa stuffing them into your mouth and wondering why you can't quit school and go work on a rice paddy.

They're so small, they could even fit into this guy's mouth.

Weshop Expands Hours on Friday and Saturday

By the way, this coming year, Weshop has expanded their hours of operation on Fridays and Saturdays.

• On Friday, Weshop will be open from 12pm to 6pm, instead of from 2pm to 6pm.

• On Saturday, it will be open from 2pm to 8pm, instead of closing at 6pm.
