Update: Instead of a roundup for each two-day reading period, I'm putting together a massive end-of-semester roundup that will be posted on Monday and will compile events every single day until housing closes. If you have an event occurring between 12/9 and 12/16 to post, send it in as early as possible.

It's fun, it's traditional, it's Christmas! WesCF is hosting their annual Christmas party with tree decorating, a puppet show, musical pieces, gingerbread house-making competition, Christmas caroling, and yummy desserts.

Unlocked calendar on sale this weekend

Instead of a magazine, Unlocked has come out with a calendar this year. It features your fellow students posing in various locations across campus, sex trivia, important Wesleyan dates, and the beautiful photography of Alex Fink. We'll be selling on Thursday, Friday, and next Monday during lunch and dinner in Usdan. It's a limited edition (200 copies) and they're only $5, so come get yours before they run out!

Treasures & Sweets Christmas sale

Treasures & Sweets will be holding its Christmas sale this weekend. Lunch will be served from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM. The $2 cost includes a homemade meal, drink, and dessert of fresh baked goods. Get your holiday shopping done and enjoy some good food!

1. Be there on time! The show will start without you and won't last long.
   
2. "Wesleyan ONLY" really does mean Wesleyan Students ONLY. There will be an I.D. check at door. So, stop hoarding tickets for friends. Instead, please sell them to Wesleyan students that do not have one.
3. This is a fundraiser for Financial Aid Scholarships. Thus, Scalping for profit = really messed up.

The Threepenny Opera: five performances

EON Week

EON has put together a week of events/activities because, well, we did some stuff this semester and we wanted you to know about it! Here's what we have planned:

Waste Awareness: Trayless Week at Usdan
ALL WEEK, 12/1-12/6 [EDIT: probably not happening Monday, but look for it sometime later in the week]
lunch and dinner, Usdan Marketplace
Currently, we throw away 150 lbs of food waste every day at lunch. Food waste will be collected and measured at each meal during the week of 12/1-12/6. Let’s see how much waste we can reduce by not using trays! *trays will be available for those who absolutely require them.

Film Series: Fern Gully: The Last Rainforest

Fern Gully is a childhood classic not to miss. With such talent as Tim Curry, Robin Williams, and Christian Slater, Fern Gully just might be the cutest and most hilarious representation of deforestation and pollution out there.

Film Series: Double Feature: “Is God Green?” And “Gimme Green”

“Is God Green?” is part of the PBS series Moyers on America. It “explores how a serious split among conservative evangelicals over the environment and global warming could reshape American politics.”
“Gimme Green” is a short documentary “that examines the American obsession with the residential lawn.”

What is Sustainability at Wesleyan? Dinner and Discussion
